In this painting I was experiementing with using prints from several different shoes over layered swatches of color. I applied a peach glaze over the top, and I thought the result was divine!
I like the juxtaposition of the complimentary pinks and greens with the turquoise and golden yellow highlights.
Sustainability is an important part of my artistic practice, and each one-of-a-kind piece is created using repurposed, upcycled and natural materials.
