Rubber Sole Paintings
Nearly eight billion people currently walk the earth, many of them clad in rubber soled shoes. I became interested in the tread marks on these shoes while observing the wide variety of footprints left in the sand after a busy day at the beach. I scour local thrift stores looking for shoes with interesting soles that I use to make the patterns on these unique paintings by stepping in paint and walking on the canvas.
